Andrew started working with Cross World Africa back in 2011, while still a member of Cornell University's Track and Field team. He went on to graduate with Honors in Anthropology from Cornell, and then became an Explorer for the National Geographic Society. His research focused on the Athletic Culture embedded in Western Kenya's Highlands.
After completing his research as a National Geographic Explorer, Andrew was accepted into Cornell’s Masters of Regional Planning Program. His thesis work focuses on infrastructure development and rural town planning. Water and resource sustainability are a key aspects to his thesis work.
More recently, Andrew has been able to combine his passion for East Africa with CWA's mission in curbing inequality in the region. Andrew served as a project manager for the foundation's 2016 campaign, and is now the Assistant Director of operations.
